Help Islamic Diversity Centre continue to run our wide range of projects that allow us to challenge stereotypes and remove misconceptions by teaching & practising authentic Islam in the Northeast of England!This includes EDUCATION through:
School workshops and mosque visits; Islamic awareness stalls, exhibitions and events , etc.SOCIAL INITIATIVES such as:
Feeding the homeless & needy, visiting the elderly, cleaning the streets, shovelling snow, visiting kids in hospitals on Eid day, raising money for other charities, etc.SUPPORTING NEW MUSLIMS by:
Teaching them how to pray, providing welcome gifts, organising classes & social activities, one-to-one mentoring, companionship during Ramadan and sending them to educational retreats.… and a whole lot more!
